Ping An Property and Casualty Insurance Company of China (Shanghai Branch) (hereinafter referred to as "Ping An PCIC Shanghai Branch") is a secondary institution of Ping An PCIC in Shanghai, established in 1994. Since its establishment, the business scale of Ping An PCIC Shanghai Branch has been increasing year by year with healthy and steady development. Since 2010, the premium scale has consistently ranked first in Shanghai nonlife insurance market.
Ping An PCIC Shanghai Branch practiced the service concept of customer first, actively reformed and innovated, took customer service as the orientation. In 2021, Ping An PCIC Shanghai Branch has handled more than 570,000 Auto Insurance claim cases and 5.66 million Property Insurance claim cases, with a customer recommendation rate of 86.78%. In 2021, the company created the "Three Provinces" service brand of "Save Worry, Save Time and Save Money", and created a new mode of "Customer-centered Claim Service". Relying on the Claim Center and Good Helper platform, It provided differentiated services for thousands of customers and constantly improved customer experience. It created a "Visual Rescue" service, which can monitor the location of rescue vehicles in real time during the rescue process, so that customers can clearly understand the rescue situation of the whole process. It opened online fast claim settlement for Accident and Health insurance, and opened automatic claims for Flight Delay Insurance, so that the time of claim settlement further improved. It built 3.0 stores and strengthen the application of new technology and the concept of paperless environmental protection. At the same time, in order to implement the company's strategic goal of "Digitalization, Online and Ecological", it continued to launch innovative service measures such as the electronic whole process of Auto Insurance, online annual audit service and constantly improve customer experience.
It's business scope covers all statutory property insurance business and international reinsurance business, including Automobile Insurance, Property Insurance, Engineering Insurance, Freight Insurance, Liability Insurance, Accident and Health insurance. In recent years, it developed Litigation Security Liability Insurance, constructed Quality Guarantee Insurance, Export Credit Insurance, Comprehensive Insurance for individual borrowers, Patent Insurance, Network Security Insurance, Accident Insurance of bank card holders, Employee Welfare, Overseas Accident Insurance for travel or business, Accident Insurance for drivers and passengers, Accident Insurance for medical beauty, etc. All those insurance products are in line with market demandS of new coverage. The current number of insurance products has reached more than 200.
Adhering to compliance development and law-abiding operation, Ping An PCIC Shanghai Branch has established a good image in Shanghai with professional skills and excellent services, and has successively insured a large number of important projects with significant social benefits which are influential in Shanghai and even the whole country.
